Overview:
Crown & Ledger is a guild management RPG where players take on the role of a guild master and are responsible for building and managing their own adventurer's guild.
Players manage guild operations, recruit and develop adventurers, handle contracts, and make decisions that affect the guild and its members. Every decision comes with its own consequences, requiring players to balance the needs of their adventurers with the long-term growth and stability of the guild.
The game focuses on the day-to-day management of a guild, from deciding which adventurers to take on and how to develop them to managing contracts, resources, and the challenges that come with running a growing organization.
At its core, Crown & Ledger is about building a guild from the ground up and shaping it through the choices made along the way.
Project Design Goals:
-
Create a guild management RPG focused on meaningful decisions and long-term progression.
-
Build systems that allow players to recruit, manage, and develop a diverse group of adventurers.
-
Make contracts, resources, and guild operations work together to create meaningful management choices.
-
Create a flexible foundation that can support deeper guild management, progression, and player-driven content over time.

Detailed Info:
Crown & Ledger is built around the idea of running an adventurer's guild rather than controlling a single hero. The player takes responsibility for the guild, its adventurers, contracts, resources, and the decisions that shape its future.
The project focuses heavily on building interconnected management systems. Recruiting adventurers, developing their abilities, assigning contracts, managing resources, and handling the day-to-day operations of the guild all contribute to the overall progression of the game.
A major part of development has been designing these systems so that individual decisions have consequences. The goal is to make the guild feel like an organization that grows and changes over time, rather than simply being a collection of menus and numbers.
The project is also being developed with long-term expansion in mind, with a flexible foundation for additional content, deeper management systems, progression, and player-driven content in the future.
